After 9 years function in search console selection for webmasters, Google removes the downgrade option for subpages on websites or online stores.
Google Site links entered Search Console in October 2007, 9 years after Google removes this option since it is not necessary with the new search engine core and algorithms update.
According to Google’s announcement, its algorithm evaluates each website in real time and if it deems necessary the site links inclusion it will be displayed, otherwise it will be removed.
Site links were a subpages upgrowth which as a criterion had the popularity of subpages and the popularity of the website.
Now with the Google Penguin 4.0 algorithm in realtime, the quality rating of each web page and its popularity will determine whether a site will have site links automatically.
Strict evaluation criteria of Google’s algorithms have restarted the web with the new evaluation rules.
So now we’ll only see the top rated searches for the best rated websites from Google.
