In August, almost all Greek businesses stop every activity of attracting audiences and customers after they make a “holiday” or are very “busy” due to season. This excuse has been perpetuated for years, leaving gaps in competition and a lot of money unexploited.

This entrepreneur made a start with Facebook and then learned that a website or an online store might seem useful to him and he did it. He is not very involved but he learns easily. He likes competition with his competitors and wants to appear to the first search page, today! He continues to deal with #Facebook thinking that the marketing plan can wait, he’s dreaming about holidays in August and shares it with his Facebook audience, he bids farewell to them and “closes his business for holidays”. But with these holidays he sends his customers to competitors ….

This type of #entrepreneur is limited to sales in the store, through contacts, via #Facebook, with no card and a little radio. He decides to go on a short vacation trip (usually 3-4 days) and has a customer audience without future and growth. Although he is working many hours, he does double time to turn over win than others.
This type of entrepreneur is always too busy for dealing with his business‘ development and marketing, usually doing business in the summer season and vacations in winter. He has enough earnings, although he would like more, and always develops as long as his adjacent develops too!! He is always following the wrong strategies and most of the times does catastrophic movements for customer attraction.
He is the type who organizes and being organized in the rush and stress of a whole year, he has a good internet presentation, selectively schedules his strategy whenever he has enough time and usually is not being consulted by
anyone but he just realizes the basis of what he hears and thinks. He bids farewell to his audience for 15 days during summer and loses his 5-10% of his customers.
These are some types of entrepreneurs who bid farewell their customers along with their vacations.
But why is this happening?
Statistically, internet search frenzy is fluctuating and has a seasonality in both intensity and search quality. Theoretically, one could say that #customers are looking for searches such as holidays, hotels, ferry boats, camping, rental cars or sunscreen creams, beach accessories etc.

So the carelessness and the non-targeted search or curiosity on summer time by a large #audience of the internet draws in new audiences and customers to the very active in business marketing, of course by taking them from the soft ones…
